Dr. Thal graduated from Washington University School Of Dental Medicine in St. Louis in 1973. From 1973-1975 he worked and lived in London, England, as a house officer in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery. In 1977, Dr. Thal completed the Pediatric Dentistry Residency program at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. Since 1977, Dr. Thal has been in private practice in New Britain. In October 1986, he became a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is currently on the staff of the Hospital of Central Connecticut and served on the Board of Governors of the Connecticut State Dental Association from 2006 to 2009. He is married and has two children.
Dr. Rostenberg earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the Intercontinental University in his native Mexico City in 1983. He then worked in private practice for two years before coming to the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine where he completed the Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program in 1987. He then did a Fellowship that included research and special care for disabled children. From 1989 to 1990 he attended the University of Kentucky School of Dental Medicine from which he earned the Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree (DMD). He is on the staff of the Hospital of Central Connecticut. "Dr. Eddie" is a devoted soccer player. He is married and has two children.
"Dr. Celeste" graduated from Rutgers University/Douglass in 1991. She then attended the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 1995. Dr. Wegrzyn then traveled to Ohio, where she completed a three-year residency program in Pediatric Dentistry and earned a Master of Science degree at The Ohio State University/Columbus Children's Hospital. She has been in practice in Connecticut since 1998. In 2006 she became a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She has served on the board of the Connecticut Society of Pediatric Dentistry and was its President in 2004. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and Connecticut State Dental Association. She is on the staff of the Hospital of Central Connecticut. Dr. Wegrzyn spends most of her free time with her husband, two children, and their two dogs. She enjoys traveling, hiking, biking, and swimming.
"Dr. Jay" joined Pediatric Dentistry, P.C. in August 2008. A native of Sarnia, Ontario, Dr. Jay obtained a B.S. in biology from the University of Toronto and a masters degree from the University of Western Ontario. Dr. Jay received his DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and in 2008 completed his residency in pediatric dentistry at Boston University. Dr. Jay has excelled in his specialty and is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He lives in West Hartford.
