We at Pediatric Dentistry, P.C. welcome Dr.Celeste Wegrzyn to our practice. "Dr. Celeste", as she likes to be known, graduated from Rutgers University/Douglass College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology in 1991. She then attended the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 1995. Dr. Wegrzyn then traveled to Ohio, where she completed a three-year residency program in Pediatric Dentistry and earned a Master of Science degree at The Ohio State University/Columbus Children's Hospital. She has been specializing in pediatric dentistry for the past seven years.

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry certifies Dr.Wegrzyn as a board eligible pediatric dentist. Since 1999 she has served as a board member of the Connecticut Society of Pediatric Dentistry and was president in 2004. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and Connecticut State Dental Association. Dr. Wegrzyn has published articles in dental journals and has given presentations at dental meetings.

Dr.Wegrzyn has served in the community educating parents, physicians, and daycare/nursery school staff about Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr.Wegrzyn spends most of her free time with her husband, son, and their two dogs. She enjoys traveling, hiking, biking, and swimming.
