Dr. Thal graduated from Washington University School Of Dental
Medicine in St. Louis in 1973. From 1973-1975 he worked and
lived in London, England as a house officer in Pediatric Dentistry
and Oral Surgery. In 1977, Dr. Thal completed the Pediatric Dentistry Residency program at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine.

Since 1977, Dr. Thal has been in private practice in New Britain.
In October 1986, he became a Diplomate of the American
Board of Pedodontics. Dr. Thal is on the staff of Connecticut Children's Medical Center. Dr. Thal enjoys gardening and is an avid runner, having completed the New York City Marathon in 1985. He is married and has two children.
